WALNUT CREEK, Calif., Aug. 18, 2010 – Ivory Consulting Corporation, the leading pricing and portfolio management software and consulting firm serving the equipment leasing and banking industries worldwide, today announced Scott Thacker has joined the company as chief operating officer.
Throughout his 25-year international career in finance and management consulting, he has helped transform businesses through product innovations, new business initiatives, and financial transactions.
“We’re impressed with Scott’s leadership and innovative thinking,” said Mark Hays, chief executive officer of Ivory Consulting. “He combines these traits with a disciplined customer focus and process-oriented approach to market opportunities. In addition to helping us fully realize the value of our pricing and portfolio management products, Scott will help us crystallize our strategy to meet the needs of our clients as they prepare for the future.”
Thacker said he looks forward to meeting with Ivory’s customers and leveraging his own expertise in software and leasing to expand Ivory’s business operations. “My initial focus will be on the new Portfolio Analytics product because it is so timely with the upcoming accounting rules changes and ongoing portfolio buy/sell activity,” he said. “But, I also will be exploring how to introduce Ivory’s pricing software, SuperTRUMP, to new users,” he added.
Ivory’s new COO began his leasing career in 1986 as a principal at American Airlines, involved in executing aircraft, equipment and real estate leases as well as other financial transactions. He joined Oracle in 1999, where he was a leader in creating the company’s now widely used lease and finance management software. He joined Accenture in 2005 as a partner responsible for creating and delivering management consulting and software solutions to the North American leasing and asset finance industry.
Thacker received an M.B.A. in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Accounting from the Wake Forest University Schools of Business.
