Ivory Consulting Corporation, Makers of SuperTRUMP, Appoint New CEO and New President
Ivory Names Industry Innovator Scott Thacker Chief Executive Officer and Software Veteran Fred Fischer President
(WALNUT CREEK, Calif., Aug. 20, 2013) – Ivory Consulting Corporation, the software and consulting company that has helped define the modern equipment finance industry, today announced Scott Thacker has been named CEO and Fred Fischer has been named president and CTO.
Thacker, who joined Ivory in 2010, was most recently president. Fischer, who joined Ivory in 2004, was most recently director of software engineering.
“We’ve been impressed with Scott’s leadership, customer focus and innovative thinking since he joined three years ago, and Fred has been invaluable in updating our technology platforms as we add cloud and mobile to our traditional software offerings,” said Chris Ivory, founder of Ivory Consulting.
Ivory’s new CEO began his leasing career in 1986 as a principal at American Airlines, involved in executing aircraft, equipment and real estate leases as well as other financial transactions. He joined Oracle in 1999, where he was a leader in creating the company’s now widely used lease and finance management software. He joined Accenture in 2005 as a partner responsible for creating and delivering management consulting and software solutions to the North American leasing and asset finance industry.
Scott serves on the Board of Directors of the Equipment Leasing and Asset Finance Association.
Fred began his software career 31 years ago and was a partner and founder in two software startups, MicroLogic Software and RightAgain, leading the design and development of popular consumer products. He also served as a senior software developer consultant to companies such as The Learning Company and Riverdeep software.
Thacker received an M.B.A. in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Accounting from the Wake Forest University Schools of Business.
Fischer earned a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
